We all have people in our lives that we hope will someday becoming affirming of LGBTQI+ people. Sometimes they are our parents, grandparents, or siblings. Sometimes they are a pastor or church staff member. In many cases they've hurt us or others through their judgement about sexuality and gender.

These people are often good-hearted and mean well. Their judgments are based on what they've been taught about a handful of clobber passages. It's not their fault that they haven't been presented with Bible-based arguments for inclusion and affirmation. They are simply trying to be good Christians.
