Every book I write is a work of allegiance and allyship

It's the eve of my debut novel's launch day. Last week I wrote about the path to reaching this point. Declan asked me to share the post here, and that got me thinking about the reality that every book I write is a work of allegiance with those who are marginalized, discouraged, targeted, and perhaps, struggling. Each one attempts to shine light on an issue, provoke thought, and plant seeds for positive social change. THE LANGUAGE OF BODIES is no exception.
